CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY​

As a leading manufacturer of crisps and snacks, Tayto Group has a responsibility to act as a good corporate citizen. At Tayto Group we recognise and carry out the obligations we have towards our colleagues, customers, suppliers, competitors and the community as a whole. We believe our reputation, together with the trust and confidence of those with whom we deal, to be one of our most valuable assets. In order to keep this reputation and trust, we demand and maintain the highest ethical standards in carrying out our business activities.

• Our Charity partner for over 5 years is Marie Curie where we have raised over £180k in many different initiatives

• We have invested in e-learning ensuring it is available to all colleagues delivering over 100 courses – compliance, leaderships, H&S, business skills etc allowing people to log on anywhere, anytime, critical in meeting todays flexible working needs.

Stronger Together training is delivered as part of our induction process

• Member of Sedex – a world leading ethical trade service provider for global auditing visibility

• Our card materials are made from over 99.5% recycled material and all are 100% recyclable 

• Tayto’s crisp production is made from 100% UK & Irish potatoes supporting British farming jobs and supply chains.

• Our GB potato crops are produced and audited to Red Tractor Standards

• Tayto Group has won Environmental awards every year since 2011 

• Over the last two years, we have invested £1.2m in water and waste water technology across our sites

• We invested £720k in 2018 changing our NI HGV fleet from Euro 5 to Euro 6 to reduce Nitrogen Oxide emissions

• Electric vehicles introduced in 2014 for our company car fleet and forklifts

• Installation of electric charging points at Tayto Group locations
