About the role:

Reporting to the Marketing Director, as the Senior Brand Manager you will own and deliver the strategy and annual marketing plan to grow the much-loved Golden Wonder brand.

Collaborating with top talent in NPD and Sales, as well as external agencies, you will lead the growth agenda across the full marketing mix including consumer, trade and internal communications as well as range development. Comfortable balancing creative and commercial priorities, you will be a highly visible brand champion – creating enthusiasm and momentum for campaigns and NPD that truly resonate with our consumers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and own the brand strategy for Golden Wonder, converting this into an annual brand plan covering the full marketing mix
  • With agency partners, generate compelling creative platforms and deliver these through impactful campaigns across both consumer and trade media to deliver strong ROI
  • Leading ongoing brand activation across consumer platforms (e.g. social & digital) and trade channels/media (e.g. POS, trade adverts, digital)
  • Develop a range development plan covering the full spectrum of NPD from innovation to EPD and deliver it through strong project management and the leadership of cross-functional teams
  • Be responsible for brand volumes, revenue and profitability, working closely with Sales to deliver budget

A little bit about you:

  • Either an experienced Brand Manager ready to step up and own the full marketing mix for this iconic British brand, or a current SBM looking for the freedom to make a difference in a fast-paced, privately owned business
  • Ability to utilise your extensive agency management experience – managing creative development and delivering media plans
  • A driven, self-starter able to influence at all levels to generate enthusiasm, manage challenge and drive action
  • Previous experience within the Food & Beverage industry

  • at least 3 years experience as Brand Manager/Senior Brand Manager in the Food & Beverage Industry
  • Extensive agency management experience
  • Experience delivering campaigns through from creative development to execution across a range of media


  • Experience of interrogating consumer insights and market data
  • Familiarity with Scottish market – Consumer and trade
  • Proficient in creative platforms
