A huge part of our success is our dedicated Engineering Departments and we currently have a space for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer at our flagship site in Corby!

About The Role

Reporting directly into the Site Engineering Manager, the main purpose of this role will be to carry out the reactive and planned maintenance across site that is critical to meeting production requirements.

On a typical day, you will:

  • Carry out prompt and effective repairs to manufacturing equipment in a safe and timely manner
  • Ensure all maintenance is accurately logged through the CMMS system
  • Work on a variety of machinery such as; Ishida weighers, TNA baggers, fryers and extrusion equipment as per the Planned Maintenance Schedule to ensure machinery is in its best working order at all times
  • You will coordinate with the production team and site manager to assess which tasks take priority with minimal disruption to production

What will we need from you?

  • A keen eye for reliability and continuous improvements
  • A desire to improve efficiency across the site
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • A recognised Engineering Qualification
  • A proven understanding of both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance

You’ll have the opportunity to work as part of an experienced, committed engineering team on a Panama Shift Pattern (3’s & 2’s rotating days & nights).

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • A recognised Engineering qualification in either Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment
  • Ideally experience working with ISHIDA/TNA machinery
