Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator to join our existing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experience to our B2B customers and will manage the Supply Chain Logistics systems on a day to day basis.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Key on orders using Navision system
  • Obtain delivery and collection bookings from the customer and ensure this is passed onto distribution service
  • Liaise with distribution sites to ensure optimum levels of service
  • Monitor distribution stocks versus orders received especially on Own Label products
  • Advise customers of any potential or actual stock issues and re-delivery where applicable
  • Monitor and attempt to resolve any delivery issues relating to failed deliveries informing Logistics Manager of any repeat situations
  • As part of ongoing process be able to highlight and report root cause of issues which affect the Service level
  • Any changes to the short term production plan which will impact on the customer service level are communicated back to the customer in a timely manner
  • Communicate positively, effectively and professionally with all manufacturing admin teams
  • Monitor inventory at responsible locations
  • Review daily damages /rework /returns and actively challenge costs and raise claims accordingly to recover costs for TGL
  • Monitor and manage stock movements between sites to ensure correct v orders
  • Co-ordinate local requirement for product holds and recalls
  • Ensuring stock rotation procedures are completed

This role is working Tuesday – Saturday, 08.45 – 17.00.  Saturday working can be home based after training period.




  • Intermediate – Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • B2B Customer experience
  • Highly numerate and accurate
  • Excellent communicator both verbal and written
  • Strong planning & organisational skills
  • Thinking with insight
  • High attention to detail skills as well as highly numerate
  • Able to work effectively in managing time and prioritising workload
  • A strong team player who is able to work autonomously
  • Full UK driving licence


  • Logistics or stock control experience
  • Navision experience
