We are currently seeking an experienced Despatch Team Leader to effectively and proactively manage our busy Finished Goods Stock through a Trailer loading network.

This role is based on working Monday to Friday, rotating 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm.  Rate of pay £11.96 – £13.74.

Purpose of Role

  • Reporting into the Despatch Manager, the successful candidate will be required to proactively undertake Team Leader duties, these will include
    • Proactively manage the despatch team
    • Managing stock on the floor from hold to ADA and that which is to be loaded
    • Setting high standards to ensure a smooth and effective team and process
    • WMS Performance reports
    • Conducting label and transfer note audits
    • Packing and stacking goods
    • Wrapping and lading of finished goods
    • Supervising the team on a day to day basis
    • Data entry and stock control
    • Trailer managements
    • Working closely with production to maximize efficiency

The role would suit someone who is looking for a role with responsibility and a high level of trust – reporting to the Despatch Manager.

Ideally you will have warehouse goods in/out supervisory experience in a manufacturing and/or 3PL environment, be qualified by experience and have a established work history.

This is a full time permanent job with immediate start.
